The Sunday Brunch Club was started by Stephanie Taylor (pictured) in January
2005. Like many of the best ideas, it was conceived over a glass of wine or two.
The Brunch Club started as a small dining group in Edinburgh, who would meet up
on Sundays for food and socialising. News of the Sunday Brunch Club soon spread,
friends of friends started to join, and before long enquiries about the club
were flowing in. Just 10 months after setting up the website in April 2006 over
200 people had joined the club and another 600 people had
signed up for our e-Updates. Stephanie realised she had set up something
that could be a really good way to meet new people in Edinburgh.
Our members are an eclectic bunch of men and women from a range of professional
backgrounds. What we all share, however, is a friendly nature and a sense of
fun. In short, anyone wanting to meet new people, play sports and try new
activities in Edinburgh in a relaxed and friendly setting is welcome to
join us
