Race Night in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care
Venue: Murrayfield Wanderers
Rugby Club, 112 Roseburn Street EH12 5PH
Norman from the badminton club is doing a cycle ride for
Marie Curie and has organised a race night to raise funds. Race Nights
are great fun. Eight pre-recorded horse races will be shown on the
big screen and all you do is bet on one (or more) of the eight horses in
each race. It is a game of chance rather than a game of
skill – no form books required! For the duration of the race
people jump up and down, shout at their horses and riders and then look
suitably deflated or smugly ecstatic when the finish line is reached!
Once the winner is known the lucky ones collect their winnings, minus a
percentage deducted for the charity. The betting then re-opens for
the next race and the fun begins all over again!

string of the Edinburgh-born twin's favourite hits like I'm Gonna Be
(500 Miles), I'm on My Way, Letter from America
