There are lots of great reasons to join the Sunday Brunch Club...
What do members get?
The question should be “what don’t members get?” Everything is included when you
join the Sunday Brunch Club. Take a look:
- Invitations to our programme of events. Instead of doing the legwork of
finding great things to do, all you have to do is turn up!
- Party invitations to the events that SBC is invited to, such as launch
parties and other complimentary events hosted by retailers, bars and
restaurants
- Party invitations to our own events that we stage throughout the year,
such as our Sparkly Summer Party in July and Caribbean Beach Party in
December
- Access to our badminton club, tennis club and 5-a-side football club
- Free entry to our legendary nights out on the town
- Great discounts on theatre, paint balling and a range of other
activities
- Option to suggest and organise events/activities
- Option to include your weblink on our website (extra fee for business
sites)
What really makes the Sunday Brunch Club special is that we give our members
cost-price entry to the majority of our events, sometimes much less and often
free. Most other social and activities clubs add a significant mark-up to their
events.
Try for yourself and see what you think. We're confident that if you try
the Sunday Brunch Club you'll love it as much as we do!
If that's not enough here are a few more great
reasons to join...
- Sports clubs and outdoor activities
- Meet new people
- Try new places
- Exclusive events
- Theatre discounts
- Fun, fun, fun!
Sports clubs and outdoor
activities
We organise a range of sports and other activities including weekly
badminton, tennis and 5-a-side football. We get out into the beautiful
areas in and around Edinburgh on regular walks and cycle rides. We
do a range of other activities like paintballing, go-karting and laserquest too.
The Sunday Brunch Club is a great way to keep fit without the gym!
Meet new
people
What we love most about running the Brunch Club is all the
fabulous people we meet. It's also the thing that our members
value most too. As busy professionals it's sometimes difficult
to find the time - or energy! - to organise a wide-ranging programme
of activities that will bring you into contact with people outside
your current circle of friends. Why not let us do it for you?
Try new places
Well variety is the spice of life! Sometimes it can happen
that it's the same few bars and restaurants you go to. The
Sunday Brunch Club goes to different venues every week. We try
everything from small real ale bars such as Halfway House to George
St style Bars such as Tigerlily. From relaxed bistros like the
Olive Branch to elegant dining at The Bonham.
On the activity side: past walks have been in Loch Lomond,
Glentress Forrest, Pentlands, Roslin Glen, Water of Leith and Linlithgow
to name but a few. We organise car-share too so it doesn't matter if you
don't have a car. Edinburgh traffic wardens don't make car ownership an
attractive proposition!
Exclusive events
At the Sunday Brunch Club we get invited to a lot of
private events organised by
Edinburgh businesses
such as retailers, restaurants, hotels and bars. We’re delighted to
extend these invitations to our members.
One of the
highlights of 2006 was our invitation to the Greypaul Grand Prix Fayre in
September with TV coverage of the Italian Grand Prix with TV and sound system
supplied by Bang & Oulfsen, a giant scalectrix track, test drives of Ferrari
Maseratis, complimentary champagne with mouth-watering lunch by Gullianos. To
put the icing on the cake there were also massages, manicures and, of course,
the chance explore all the amazing cars on display from F1 cars, to
vintage Ferraris and Bentleys.
In April we will be enjoying a complimentary champagne reception and 3
course dinner courtesy of Smart City Cafe.
